Upon graduation every Saint Paul Public School student shall be prepared to succeed in an increasingly complex and information-rich society. All Saint Paul students will use 21st Century Learning Tools, such as computers, networking and other digital and non-digital computing technologies that will allow them to function effectively in an every-changing environment and in a variety of roles. Information and communication technologies (ICT) will continue to be a driving force in our workplaces, communities and personal lives in the 21st century. Learning with these 21st Century tools represents Information and Communication Technology Literacy. To help students in the Saint Paul Public Schools develop ICT literacy, we have developed this collection of digital tools and resources. This site is currently being developed with assistance from high school counselors, school media specialists and teachers as a way to assist students with imagining and planning for their futures, as well as classroom learning activities. |
